The two leads, who like so many young Australian actors these days have made their names in American TV series, are utterly, creepily convincing... Go to Full Review

A mesmerising psychological noir thriller in which a one night stand turns sour; and that's just the start. Go to Full Review
Andrew F. Peirce The Curb Apr 4, 2020
This is, at its core, a rape revenge film, and while Pimped is co-written by a woman, there's a distinctly masculine perspective to this story, making it a muddled affair that wants to have its cake and voraciously eat it too. Go to Full Review

Theodore R Apr 16, 2019 really twisty thriller with some constant power shifts. Really enjoyed this at Frightfest last August!
Luke Mar 8, 2019 Overall Pimped delivers some stunning visuals and sets up a great world, particularly through the sets that we see for a good portion of the film. Our actors deliver good performances, but the sadly the filmï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2(TM)s major plot points or twists are told without any real confirmation and understanding revealed to he audience. Selected moments, particularly in the opening and closing of this film, can also feel like a slow burn. Nevertheless, for a directional debut by David Barker this is a proud achievement and I personally look forward to David's next upcoming film. - Finesse Movie Reviews See more
