When his mother, Renee (Darlanne Fluegel), dies, young Jeff Matthews (Edward Furlong) moves back to his hometown with his father, Chase (Anthony Edwards). Jeff grows friendly with Drew Gilbert (Jason McGuire) at school, who tells him about the Indian burial grounds that bring people and animals back to life, which led to the deaths of the Creed family who used to live in town. Desperately missing his mom, Jeff ignores warnings and buries her corpse, only to have her return in deadly zombie form.

Stephen King, who usually doesn't mind his name attached to any form of cinematic garbage, had it successfully removed from the credits of this picture, which should alert any potential viewer to tread carefully.

2.5/5. The first half is pretty dull, but the second half is incredibly bonkers and you don't know what is going to happen next. Can't say I would recommend though.

I know most people naturally will loath this film, but, as a desperate 90's cling-on, I hold this film near and dear. The acting is 'meh' for sure, the story line and character acting definitely lack atmosphere, but we don't love PS2 for the talent, we love it for the mood, the music, and lets just face it, watching Clancy Brown devour the town is truly classic. "Dead is better!"

Bizarre and uneven, Pet Sematary Two is a ridiculous cash grab of a movie with no type of reality established .

Didn't hate it as much as other people, definitely liked seeing Edward Furlong in it. I feel like if this was the first PS, people wouldn't hate it as much. I enjoyed the dickhead cop, and the mother coming back, and all those gags. Solid fun, ok execution.

Pet Sematary Two doubles down on the gore and ridiculousness but lacks the true dread that accompanied the first outing. While this sequel is an inferior product, it does have a strong cheese-ball entertainment value that can't be denied.
