Poe S Apr 27, 2019 Patriot... (2 seasons, Prime Amazon) This is a wacky, wonky, all American spy thriller... John tavne(Michael Dorman) is a not so successful spy. His father, Tom (terry o'quinn) is an intelligence head honcho and his brother, Edward is a senator. John is sent to Paris on a ill planned Mission. His brother is then sent to look after him, and... Well, it's a complicated story! There are Iranian guys (and a lady) , Spaniards, Japanese puppeteers, French police, hard core Milwaukee rednecks, with lots of engineering talk... (Total fake by the way) , confusing .... We're there to see a spy thriller, not become experts in piping and such, are we? The serial is fast paced at times and slow moving at others. Too many characters, but Anyways, we do get from point A to B.. If you know what I mean?! Entertaining , if you like the genre.. Evading all set genres, this serial may be best described as a farcical spy thriller, with a splash of black comedy, and a dose of suspense, trying to be like breaking bad and James bond at the same time...! 3.8/5 for me... But, I'm continuing to see season 2....! Rajesh Gupta @RReviews_etc #paris #spy #genreconfusion #dynamicflowengeneering #itscompcated # Milwaukee #materialfromatob #patriot See more

Hagrid W Apr 1, 2019 The best show that no one is watching. It's darkly funny, well written, quirky and original. Give the first 3 minutes of Season 1, Episode 1 a try and you'll know if it's for you. If you liked the first 2 seasons of Fargo, you'll like this show. See more

Feb 20, 2019 Easily the best thing I have seen in recent years- love it

Han R Feb 16, 2019 One of the best shows on right now - smart, sardonic, relentless. Soundtrack is an added bonus. Watch it if shows like Arrested Development, Fargo, etc. It's it's own thing, but it will appeal to people who appreciate intelligent comedy. See more

Hagrid S Jan 28, 2019 An incredible ride of a series. The contrast between the humor, which is often dark, and the sadness of John Lakeman provides for a weirdly entertaining contrast that compels one to keep watching. John's folk songs are a treat. Be certain to listen to the words for a glimpse into his mind. Overall an amazingi series. And season 2 is even better than season 1. See more
