Daring, ruthless and meticulous, Parker (Jason Statham) is one of the most successful thieves in the business. But when his latest robbery turns deadly because of a careless crew member, he declines to join crime boss Melander (Michael Chiklis) and his gang for another heist. The crooks turn on Parker and leave him for dead. Parker survives and vows vengeance, tracing the gang to Palm Beach. There, he joins forces with an unlikely ally (Jennifer Lopez) to hijack the gang's next big score.

Poor J-Lo: there was a time when she co-starred with George Clooney, but 15 years on from Out Of Sight she's just a third wheel in this uninspired vengeance caper wherein The Stath is shafted by the Mob and vows payback.

When the protagonist 'Halle Berry' is more greedy and more stupid than the hero/anti-hero 'Jason Stathom' & the moronic bad guys whos bosses pockets are endless with cash. Makes this movie moot knowing that paying the the main character his pittance of his 1st job would've avoided the rest of this sad movie. Though Halle Berry still looks gorgeous for beong 46! Sad. Really Sad!!

Parker is a decent film. It is about a thief with a unique code of professional ethics is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Taylor Hackford did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the action and mystery.
