It's so audacious and so technically accomplished, and arrives here garlanded with so many radiant superlatives, that I wish I liked it more. Go to Full Review

The story is a compelling and deeply involving one, and the film is both beautiful, exciting, and sometimes horrifying. The creature effects are superbly handled. Go to Full Review

Such is the case that Pan's Labyrinth has already achieved the status of a contemporary classic, and there's no better way to evaluate it than with the perspective of these twenty years. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

A few of the tales are a bit of a stretch, but the scope of the Pan's Labyrinth universe comes out feeling much larger than ever before. Go to Full Review

Poe P Apr 4, 2019 Watched this because of Guillermo del Toro and was not disappointed on the details and storytelling.
Rey M Mar 20, 2019 Gullermo del toro knows how tell you a fairy tale story based upon the cruelty of passed days in Spain. It's really a journey you can't miss. See more
Rey W Mar 12, 2019 An excellent fantasy drama by Del Toro, which, due to being mired in the misery of the goings-on of rural post-revolution Spain, makes you wonder throughout if the heroine is simply fabricating a world to which she can escape, adding a fixating extra layer to the narrative. The visuals are above par, with at least decent CG for the time, excellent makeup and practical effects, and incredible locales. Shots, though standard at times, flow and transition with grace, never giving the viewer a sense of vertigo, and always contain the information needed to give the viewer the full picture. In addition, the actress portraying Ofelia is quite excellent for a child actor, even acting opposite of CGI constructs with at least a passable level of skill. In all, a highly competent film on all levels, save for a small smattering of characters who could have used a little more time in the oven to be as fully realized as needed. See more
Albus S Mar 9, 2019 The only movie I ever made me genuinely cry.
Finn L Feb 25, 2019 Filme brilhante, os efeitos especiais são fantasticos e realisticos.
George S Feb 21, 2019 Pan's Labyrinth works as both a dark fantasy and grim period drama, with intricate details and allegories introducing a challenging era of human history in a refreshing manner, even if the real-world horrors often overshadow that of the imaginary. See more
