Trapped in their New York brownstone's panic room, a hidden chamber built as a sanctuary in the event of break-ins, newly divorced Meg Altman (Jodie Foster) and her young daughter Sarah (Kristen Stewart) play a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with three intruders - Burnham (Forest Whitaker), Raoul (Dwight Yoakam) and Junior (Jared Leto) - during a brutal home invasion. But the room itself is the focal point because what the intruders really want is inside it.

Panic Room is a beautifully performed, inventively shot commercial thriller that uses a narrow physical setting to ratchet up tension and a smartly written screenplay to give the characters an uncharacteristic level of depth and complexity.

a lot of screen time in the same place but the film pulls it off in general, good plot, great acting ofcourse from jodie and a young kristen stewart. film is fueled mainly by suspense.

A recently divorced mother buys a large house, but on their first night in get undesired visitors, who know what they want is in the very room that offers refuge: the panic room. Thriving on tension and clever camera panning, this is a good watch on a rainy night.

Una tensionante historia de David Fincher logra sacar uno de los mejores actuaciones de Jodie Foster siendo esta una historia desgarradora aun que con personajes muy cojeantes,la historia es dinamica y muy bien construida ,sus personajes antagonistas no tienen mucha convicción de ser realmente malos con esto Panic Room pierde un poco de credibilidad y pasa por ser muy inocente aun que muy interesante y entretenida.
