It does what it does quite capably ... maintaining a muscular, splattery propulsion that never descends into campily excessive gore or any other silliness despite the occasional flat line and plausibility lapse.

The female lead is possibly one of the stupidest characters i've ever seen. it's like she was created to do all the stupidest faux pas in movies. the type that makes you scream "you dumb bitch what are you doing?"

I've been craving a zombie movie, and believe it or not, without even knowing about the existence of this movie I was thinking about a first-person zombie movie. The movie entertained, but lacked emotion. Its best to watch this movie with Gunners advice, "It's easier if you think of it as a game"
