Begins as a very funny comedy, but its two lead performances (including the best work of Whitman's career) carry the film to uncommon insight into how we relate, emote and will always need the spontaneity of the human experience. Go to Full Review

See it because it's uproarious and lyrical and (aha) human. Go to Full Review
John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter Nov 16, 2016
Emotionally engrossing if not 100% persuasive in its last act, it balances techno-alienation and warmth in ways that will resonate with art-house audiences. Go to Full Review

Leia W Nov 30, 2018 So good. What haven't I heard more about this film? Great performances. Great script. Fun to see 'Too Much Light...' on the big screen. Mae Whitman. Wow. See more
Draco L Jul 30, 2018 Are people really this pretentious in those areas? It was almost comical how hard they tried to make it out of the box. I had to look away when they did the theatre scene it was so cringe worthy. See more
Han P Feb 10, 2018 This movie was thoughtful and clever, quite well acted. The trouble came towards the end, when the movie seemed to twist in on itself, trying to fit the mold of traditional rom-com. Nonetheless, this one is worth a watch. See more
Anakin S Jan 4, 2018 Amazing film. From the acting, to the incredible visuals, to the writing of these characters slowly losing themselves in their craft, it was a truest incredible film. See more
Kylo L Oct 26, 2017 Fascinating. Real. Believable. Engaging. Hits all the tropes and makes them into something new.
Rey W Aug 18, 2017 Interesting subject but think the story was a lot darker than how it was presented.
