When a lost traveler stumbles upon an old man living in a remote cabin in the woods, the two engage in a lengthy conversation; one that will bring to light the truths they've been running from, the sins they've tried to forget, and the terrifying bond that connects them.

Critics Consensus

Stephen Lang is as magnetic as ever, but his finely layered performance isn't quite enough to distract from Old Man's predictable story.

An unexceptional psychological horror from director Lucky McKee that feels dated and clunky, with some fairly ropey acting – or maybe that is down to the shaky lines put into the actors’ mouths.

McKee’s camera, which moves around like a living presence and always seems to be on the brink of discovering something terrible, makes it impossible to relax for long.
