Foremost among its attributes is the excellent performance by Hugh Jackman, soon to become an overnight movie star thanks to 2000's X-Men. Go to Full Review

Finn M Jan 28, 2019 I first saw Oklahoma in New York in 1951. Fell in love with musicals. Saw this 'extended' video production first in 2017. On par with the Royal Albert Hall production of The Phantom of the Opera which is a tough yardstick to measure up against. Hugh Jackman, Josefina Gabrielle and the jack of all trades, Jimmy Johnston were only the tops of the boquet of talent. The production is nearly flawless. Every facet of the production was magically and elegantly performed. Magnificent show. See more
Jan 10, 2018 Such a perfect singing by Hugh Jackman
Draco R Nov 12, 2017 I remember enjoying this much more when I was younger but still worth a watch. Good performance from a young Hugh Jackman.
Albus M Aug 30, 2017 I would've preferred a dream Laurey to be cast instead of Josepfina who can ballet dance but who's singing and acting are less polished. See more
Albus R Feb 3, 2017 Absolutely delightful. This could have easily failed as a musical, why? For some people, it has a thin plot and is the length of a typical Martin Scorsese epic. However, the singing and dancing is top notch, and so are the songs. That ballet sequence, oh my god! The only thing that could possibly be compared to musical wise is the finale ballet to an American in Paris. The dialogue is also quite witty and well written. If you enjoy musicals that are 3 hours long and aren't Andrew Lloyd Webber quality, check out this one! You won't be disappointed. See more
