Occupation gets the job done with a minimum of fuss and an abundance of explosive set pieces that will likely endear it to domestic fans, even if it's mostly forgettable otherwise.

This is the rare action movie that's almost more exciting when the characters put down their guns and take up an argument.

Occupation is an action-movie throwback, a comfortable old combat boot. It's rousing in the old, familiar ways, but shouldn't all that sound and fury signify something?

After an intriguing set up, Occupation quickly leans on cliched character types and storylines that an original setting still can't make interesting.

Occupation is a well-made sci-fi invasion romp that takes the subject and gives it a realism that works for it.

How this film got 1000+ positive reviews is beyond me. Maybe the cast and film crew got everyone the knew to give it a positive rating. Save yourself the pain of watching this excruciatingly BAD film.

Complete and utter tripe. Just spent £6 renting this on Sky and feel robbed. There is no storyline to speak of. Script is poor and acting wooden. Clearly made on the cheap, army camp is a clearing in the woods and alien outfits look like 80s spandex. Highlight was when the menacing aliens started speaking in an australian accent.

Rubbish. Couldnt make it to the end of the Movie..Poor production, poor directing, poor SCI FI for even 1970's movie. Total Garbage

So bad it's entertaining. Dramatic music overlays a string of tough guy one liners and cobbling of disparate action scenes that drag on far too long without a well-crafted climax.
