A young couple suffering from arrested development are forced to live next to a fraternity house after the birth of their newborn baby.

Critics Consensus

With plenty of bawdy humor evenly spread between its well-matched stars, Neighbors earns its R rating -- and filmgoers' laughs.

What it does best is nail the angst of people realising that the birth of their baby also means the death of cool.

Byrne walks away with the film by making Kelly a well-rounded, conflicted person, rather than the film's fun cop who has to tell everyone the boring truth.

It may seem counterintuitive to praise the emotional maturity of a movie whose climax includes a dildo fight, but there you have it.

Bad Neighbours borrows consciously from Jon Landis's Animal House for some of the contrivances that fuel the fraternity plot, but it is a pity the writers haven’t worked on creating a character as misanthropic and dirty as Bluto.

To its credit, the film keeps a brisk pace with the comedy and doesn’t make you wait too long between smiles.

Neighbors is as raunchy as you would expect from a Seth Rogen led comedy, however Zac Efron's hilarious performance is so good it makes us forget about High School Musical and nearly overshadows Rogen in the best way possible.

This was the best slapstick, ridiculous comedy I have seen since Wedding Crashers. Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron are at the height of their hilarity. Well done, perfectly edited, and laugh out loud funny. I wish all ridiculous comedies were as good as this.

"Neighbors" é um filme divertido e surpreendentemente pensativo sobre velhas e novas gerações. Seth Rogan é absolutamente fantástico.

I really didnt like this film same ole Drug and sex jokes that come with Seth Rogen. Really nothing original about this film but there are some funny moments with Zac Efron and Dave Franco. You will not miss anything by not watching this film and if your into the same ole Weed and sex jokes then just rent or wait till its on Cable. This is a Skip for me.

This movie is hysterical and explores a plot line that I haven't seen explored before.
