[Neds] has an authenticity that imbues it with an uncomfortable power (many of the film’s events parallels Mullan’s experiences of growing up in 1970s Glasgow) and there’s an impressive performance by Conor McCarron as McGill. Go to Full Review

George L Dec 15, 2018 The Downward Spiral of this wee Scottish lad is not particularly new nor remarkable, nevertheless it was interesting to follow it until the very end. The end is actually the part I've preferred, as "Neds" took time to real me in, and I was almost unhooked again around the middle because I found it a bit overlong. See more
Hagrid M Mar 1, 2017 A gruelling depiction of teen gangs and the grimly inevitable descent of a bright lad who gets in with the wrong crowd, only to find that he enjoys it. The performances are terrific throughout the cast, and the violence is chillingly realistic. There's a great hallucinatory twist towards the end, and I found the understated ending very moving. Not easy to watch at times, it's nevertheless a film I can easily recommend. See more
