Really enjoyed it, though the story went over the top. Quite a suspense for a rather grey January afternoon.

This film steers away from standard action genre conventions. It doesn't move from one heart-pounding fight scene or car chase to the next. Rather, it aims for a more serious, dramatic style with plenty of dialogue and meatier storyline. While it can certainly still be classified as an action film, it's a slower burn. There are plenty of twists and turns and a clearly overarching theme (doing good vs. doing well), which keeps it moving, though it leans toward being oversentimental and cliché at times.

Boring movie. Did not arise any interest in a cliched plot with TV stars that mimicked roles they were famous for. It was tough to see Kit different from Jon Snow while Harry was similar to Brian. Switched it off midway.

Although entertaining and certainly not a bad film, 'Spooks: The Greater Good' is a run-of-the-mill spy-thriller that opts to take the safe route and stick to what it knows best leading it to feel like a feature-length episode of the TV series that it is based on. That may be exactly what fans wanted, but for those not familiar with the show, it is simply another movie that didn't try anything new or exciting.
