I have to admit that I find the real brilliance of the film is in the first act and things have wound down by the end, but what an entertainment sugar rush. Go to Full Review

Harry R Apr 20, 2019 THE high point for live-action Disney movies, Julie Andrews' performance, the narm charm of Dick Van Dyke's atrocious Cockney accent, the fun songs and pleasing visuals - especially during the Step in Time dance number - help make Mary Poppins a magical movie whose sheer whimsy helps take the burden off of its more outdated aspects, be they matte paintings posing as London or obvious bluescreen as technology hadn't evolved enough to make something on the level of Roger Rabbit. Harry W Apr 18, 2019 One of my favourite childhood films and I still love it today. The actors, the songs, the visuals. Everything is spectacular. Just a few minor parts where it can be a bit slow or songs that weren't as enjoyable. But it's very minor details. Everyone makes fun of Dick Van Dyke's accent in it but it never bothered me one bit. I love it and find it/him so endearing. See more
Finn S Apr 15, 2019 Practically perfect in every way
Abraham P Apr 6, 2019 Just like Mary Poppins herself, this film is practically perfect in every way. Such a delight from beginning to end.
George W Apr 2, 2019 "Mary Poppins" is 'nearly perfect in every way.'
George S Mar 25, 2019 Commanded by the charming, elegant Julie Andrews (who won Best Actress for the role) Mary Poppins serves as a benchmark of Walt Disney's timeless classics with its colorful musical numbers, wholehearted tones and vibrant joy. 4.2/5 See more
