Leia S Dec 3, 2018 Everyone seems to think Dirty Harry is the de-factor film of this series but contrary to popular belief this is the best film. Detective Callahan is more human, thus easier to identify with, thus more able to give the viewer a tangible sense of efficacy which is the reason these movies are so popular. One watches Dirty Harry in order to feel like goals can be accomplished despite the, at times, overwhelming roadblocks that occur in life. These movies provide the profound satisfaction of the bad guy getting what he deserves and the good guy getting the glory. The more human the hero the more deeply these emotions are felt by the audience. This movie does this very effectively. This film broke a few rules in violence when it came out. The first scene in this film is pretty graphic, and gives the viewer an idea of what to expect. TBS has to edit this movie extremely. I like it, not the best acting or script, but the concept is great. Eastwood is great and is the only one to pull this story off. See more

Clint Eastwood is back as Dirty Harry in Magnum Force and this time he's here to catch another mysterious killer who is an vigilante cop who kills people. That's kind of the same thing to the first film. However I have nothing about it because it's the same thing like I said. Magnum Force is a superior one out of all of them. Han M Sep 15, 2017 One of the best sequels ever made, (while not as legendary) considerably better then the first with a great plot, a more fleshed out Callahan, great action, exceptional dialogue (from the legend himself John Milius including my favorite final line in a movie and a film more relevant now then ever. George M Aug 22, 2017 Harry is back. Just as slick, but maybe a bit more talkative this time. This time there are some crooked cops involved, the villains are cops turned bad. Still, Harry is the biggest bad ass here. A very cool car chase, not with a bus this time, but with cars and motorbikes. Other scenes are solid and raw. Some twists here and there, nice girls and a great pace and tensity construction. Almost as good as the original, but I doubt I'm going further into the series. 7 out of 10 slope roads. See more
