It's been 25 years since Tory Redding put an end to a psychotic Leprechaun trying to kill her and her friends for stealing his pot of gold - and no one has heard a wicked limerick since. But after she gifted the property to a local college in her will, a group of students unwittingly revive him while turning the old cabin into their green sorority house. Now, this renewable enemy is back for his gold, and ready to give these girls, and one old friend, a lesson in murder.

While there's a lot of charm to be found, it's also sloppy in its world-building and doesn't give us anyone to truly root for. It doesn't feel like anything we haven't already seen before, either.

If your thing is watching a bunch of random teenagers get stuck in a cabin and killed one at a time, there are far, far worse examples than this.

As a serious horror flick - from scares and gore to actual story quality - this is easily the best "Leprechaun" movie.

I don't want to pull the wool over your eyes and declare Leprechaun Returns a masterpiece. It's not and I know that. However, it's some of the most fun you will have with a horror movie this year.

I love this franchise it's my favorite ironic horror franchise with the exception of origin and in space there all funny but not scary and this movie is the perfect leprechaun movie witty dioulogue great acting and a great premise it never feels like there are any plot holes and the humor is spot on and it's even a little scary sometimes one review said it doesn't give us anyone to root for but that's not what this franchise is about it's about a fun villain killing flawed characters since leprechaun 3 they realized it's a ironic horror movie and this is what that is. Don't go into this thinking horror think comedy with horror elements Becauce that's what it is and overall it's not even ironally good this ones just good

This movie began terrible, and only got worse from there. The plot, dialog, and character development is seriously lacking. First, why would these girls put a sorority house in the middle of no where? Second, the Lepricauhn was not adverse to killing people who took his gold, but didn't kill for no reason this movie changes the premace to a slasher. Third, how did the Lepricauhn get out of the well? It ate a four leaf clover, and should have died. Seriously, if you arent going to make the movie anywhere near like the orignal...why bother?

A truly outstanding modern slasher mixes with excellent black humor makes for a perfect beer-movie to watch with friends.Although the abscense of Warwick Davis and his usual charisma left a little void ,this new leprachaun is just as good as the original.

There was effort put into this, to make it connect to the original franchise and it shows. It actually works. Sad we don't have Warwick Davis, but the new actor did great!
