Writer-director Ron Shelton's wittily perceptive, street-wise screenplay and the terrific comic chemistry of its appealing stars, Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson, enliven this aimless and insubstantial but exuberant comedy.

This movie wears thin as quickly as the worn out Rodney Dangerfield jokes that screenwriter Curtis Burch weaves in and out of the plot.

The situations in the film are merely setups for Dangerfield to wisecrack and bug his eyes out - so when a few gags fall flat, the pacing drastically suffers.

Every Rodney Dangerfield movie never tends to lack in laughs, and always exhibit great arrays of emotions in the viewer, but yet the movie lacked of some quality as I could find myself being distracted when viewing some scenes in this movie. Altogether the movie does pack a set of laughs but tends to lack entertainment in some scenes along with the producers attempts in trying to hard to make the audience laugh with some of Dangerfield's remarks in the film.

Is this movie dumb? Yes. But I used to love it when I was a kid. I watched it again after many years (in my 30's) and I have to admit I think I liked it just as much. I never realized how many funny movie quotes my family still uses from this obscure 90's comedy.
