Knight and Day

What to Know

Critics Consensus

It's pure formula, but thanks to its breezy pace and a pair of charming performances from Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, Knight and Day offers some agreeably middle-of-the-road summer action.

Knight and Day is a bit too long (one too many plot twists that made you just not care by the end) but it's fun though predictable thrill ride. Go to Full Review

Underrated film. Such a fun movie. The banter is great. Go to Full Review

It's the Hitchcockian "wrong man" theme played as a Hollywood action lark, all momentum and spectacle and no mortal risk or moral confusion... Go to Full Review

Poe P Mar 23, 2019 Well written comedy worth owning. Can't wait for Knight and Day 2, if and when it comes out. Great synergy.
Ron L Mar 22, 2019 Knight and Day is pretty fun, both as an adventure and as a comedy. The story is interesting, the characters are likeable, and it is funny and exciting enough to be unique. Plus, Roy Miller is an unusual spy, which makes it all the funnier. The director does a good job getting all of the pieces of the movie to flow together: the cinematography, the lighting, the sound, and the acting. The cinematography is very good, especially during moments showing landscapes, stretches of road, or when one of the main characters is semi-conscious. In most of the scenes, the lighting is bright, even in points of the movie where the lighting is darker or the feel is more sinister; this helps to establish the movie as a comedy. The sounds are good and believable, the music isn't too loud, and the actors don't talk too quietly. The actors themselves do a good job of portraying their individual characters, and each of the characters seems believable in relation to the movie and their situations. See more
See more
Han S Mar 7, 2019 Filled with charisma, humour and action-packed thrills, KNIGHT AND DAY has a good enough mixture to pack a solid punch, and ends up being an entertaining summer blockbuster. See more
Theodore S Feb 22, 2019 An action packed movie which starts strong and become progressively more boring.
Harry G Dec 6, 2018 The action comes out as recycled but the very few action scenes saves this film from a copy cat action flick
