Filled with light parkour, terrible speed-ramping, and frenetically edited combat, Ziman's film could easily be repackaged as The Asylum's ripoff of Lucy. Go to Full Review
Robert Abele Los Angeles Times Oct 10, 2014
Ziman struggles mightily to weave hot-girl assassin shtick, trendy exploitation style and future-shock grimness: The default setting seems to be whatever you've seen in a hundred other movies (and heard - the electronic score is pure digital Muzak). Go to Full Review
Ben Kenigsberg New York Times Oct 9, 2014
Nasty for nastiness's sake, "Kite" drags to achieve its brief running time; you wonder whether the slow motion is an artistic device or a stalling tactic. Go to Full Review

Rey G Jan 15, 2019 Awful. Miserable tween-femme-fatale gore. Lousy acting, lame plot/story, and poor production. Flush this crapper from your queue. See more
Hermione R Jul 1, 2018 Trash that is one a long line of trash that hollywood destroyed through conspiracy that has n o t h i n g to do with anime or the actual better anime adaptation. Put it together my fellow masses - E v e r y single live action anime movie has been obliterated through making it into trash. It is way too much for a coincidence. See more
Luke S Aug 21, 2017 Very cool take on the original Anime movie. I enjoyed this more than Ghost In The Machine. Decent acting and great bloody violence. Awesome Sat afternoon watch See more
Albus W Jul 28, 2017 Horrible quality...turned it off before 5 minutes had gone by.
Anakin M Jul 11, 2017 Story adapted from the popular Japan animation of the same name starring India Eisley as Sawa in the dystopian future attempting to seek retribution to the criminals she suspects who might have something to do with her parents deaths. She accomplishes to get away to execute her alleged attackers with the help of a homicidal detective, Lt. Karl Aker played by Samuel Jackson who pays with by feeding her some kind of drug. Reminiscent of a futuristic La Femme Nikita. See more
Kylo R Jun 16, 2017 One of the few movies that have made me want to kill myself. Think of anything you hate about a move and it's definitely in this move. Why waste your time. Go watch Interstellar instead. See more
