King Kong Lives ... has a dull cast and a plot that's even duller, but the ape himself is in good form. Go to Full Review

The problem with everyone in King Kong Lives is that they're in a boring movie... and they just can't stir themselves to make an effort. Even the lowliest extras in a 1950s' B picture would have been able to scream better and roll their eyes more. Go to Full Review

There's still far too much comedy; any sense of awe (of which terribly little exists) is drowned out by constant, immature, generic attempts at laughs. Go to Full Review

There's simply no reason for this movie to be this abysmal. Go to Full Review

I have never seen a King Kong knock-off more lifeless and almost mean-spirited in its lack of narrative cohesion or functional human characters than this one. Go to Full Review

George L Jan 9, 2019 The first movie in the saga "King Kong" (which was released in 1976) had not been a great movie, it was good, but there was a lot more to improve. Despite the special effects until they were reasonably good, the story was bad, it was just unnecessary and it made no sense: after all, since when did King Kong have a wife, and besides, did not King Kong die in the first movie? ?? !!! Leia W Nov 21, 2017 This movie should have been called King Kong Loves due to the unforgettable chemistry between Dude Kong and Lady Kong. In our podcast we talk about the giant heart transplant scene as being an interesting idea, but like the rest of the movie you can really feel the effort that went in. They make filmmaking look effortful in this movie. It's probably deserving of its notorious zero percent critic rating. See more
Abraham P Jul 29, 2017 The movie was fine to me because he had a son then died which made me cry ??
Abraham S Apr 16, 2017 The worst sequel of Kong ever
Theodore W Jan 30, 2017 Of all the Kong films to get a sequel it had to be the 1970's one. That movie on its own is awful, and so maybe trying to do an original story and not a re-telling of a beloved classic would give the film makers room to stretch their creative muscles right? Nope. See more
Anakin R Jan 27, 2017 I enjoyed it IT was a thriller all the way through watch number one first its even better cause you can understand it more
