The tale of a down-and-out detective and a seamy femme fatale is a thoroughly professional little entertainment. Go to Full Review

The film sporadically achieves a truly seedy atmosphere, but there are too many symbols, too many loose ends, and too many vaguely sensationalist scenes. Go to Full Review

Take out the f-words, switch it to black-and-white and the film could have been made in 1949. This is a compliment. Go to Full Review

Hagrid W Jan 18, 2017 Pretty cool little modern noir. All the classic tropes are there and they're done fairly well. It's nothing groundbreaking or all that memorable, but if you're looking to kill some time and want a film noir fix, you should enjoy. See more
