Apr 5, 2019 If you're looking for a good movie, go elsewhere. If you're looking for a good fighting movie this isnt half bad. The fight choreography is pretty good, gets a little repetitive in the end scene but otherwise its good. Not many jump cuts, the videography reminds me of Jackie Chan films, in the sense of they actually show the action instead of jumpcutting around. The issue is when they do jump-cut, its extremely jarring, hurts the good fight choreography. The cast is strong, yet also weak. Mike Tyson isnt an actor, and yet he was still better than all of the supporting cast combine. Van Damne seemed to care very little about the film, at least as far as his acting is concerned. He was never a very strong actor to begin with to be fair, he was a stuntman/fighter that could act just well enough to keep you entertained between fight scenes. In this he fights once, near the end. He seemed very un-enthused. No idea who the main actor was but he's alright. Passable. The special effects are laughable. There is a fight on top of a train at the start of the movie which I was too busy laughing at the storm trooper death scream being used not once but twice to notice if it was good or not, but the one in the middle of the movie was so goddamn bad. Holy shit. I've seen Twitch Streamers do better green screens then that. The practical blood effects are decent enough but the animated ones are hilarious. The movies budget was clearly entirely spent on SOME set design and mostly the cast. Overal, its watchable. Only if you're in the mood for a lot of fighting. If you aren't, its a hardcore pass.
