The premise of two brothers living in the same body, with one living 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the other from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., sounds pretty preposterous but somehow the filmmakers, with Bill Oliver making his feature directorial debut, make it work. Ansel Elgort gives a top notch performance in the dual role of the two brothers, with Suki Waterhouse and Patricia Clarkson adding much to the mix. All in all, I wasn't particularly thrilled with the ending here, but I found the movie to be quite intriguing and engrossing. See more

Jan 22, 2019 So close. But no cigar. Intriguing idea for a plot unfortunately not fleshed out into a cohesive narrative. Stylish visuals. Kept me guessing. Wish they had explored the dark/light angel more effectively and come up with an ending that felt like it belonged to the story. But they didn't. Ending felt tacked on as a hasty and abrupt finish. Could have further explored the different personalities of the bros but I could barely tell them apart. And what the heck about bro number three? Red herring bro? No idea. Messy under a neat exterior. See more
