4.5/5
The Chalk Line delivers a powerful story of longing and hope, combined with a harrowing scenario that could be ripped from the headlines. Go to Full Review

3/5
This disturbing drama is strongly acted, pieced together well, and thrilling to the end. However, a few small issues keep The Chalk Line from being great. Go to Full Review
M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut Oct 25, 2022
2.5/5
The Chalk Line had promise but ultimately succumbs to an uneven script and an ending that plays it too safe. Go to Full Review
Marshall Shaffer Decider Oct 25, 2022

Randy Meeks Espinof Oct 24, 2022
3.5/5

3/5
... An exemplary exercise in genre filmmaking, well crafted and without auteur pretensions. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review
