The year is 2455. The Place is Old Earth. Once the shimmering blue jewel of the galaxy, Old Earth is now a contaminated planet abandoned for centuries. Yet humans have returned to the deadly place that they once fled. Not to live, but to research the ancient rusting artifacts of the bygone civilizations that caused this environmental disaster. And little does the most recent landing party of intrepid young explorers realize the fate that awaits them.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Neither scary nor funny, Jason X infuses the series' slasher formula with an obnoxious dose of campy, self-aware humor and low budget sci-fi tackiness to disastrous effect.

Since neither blade not bullet can halt the serial killer Jason Voorhees, the film has a pervasive numbness. Go to Full Review

Harry S Apr 12, 2019 This movie is.....interesting. Although most people hate it, it is very different in a good way. It feels similar in a way to Alien and the Uber Jason fits into this film nicely but the underdeveloped plot is what hurts it. See more
Leia G Apr 4, 2019 Meh. Its okay, and its different and it's out of this world.
Luke P Mar 15, 2019 It was amazing to me it had amazing moments and a lot more.
Mar 8, 2019 Maybe I am just in to some old throw back Sci-Fi and Horror, but I liked this movie and laugh at it. He just wanted his Machete Back!!! See more
Hagrid W Jan 20, 2019 CRAP! The worst Friday 13th aka Jason movie ever!!!!
Hermione W Nov 17, 2018 Jason X is bad in a funny way more so then any other in this series. I highly recommend watching with friends for this one because this one is kinda a slog alone. Its got my least favorite looking Jason and one of my most hated character in the lady who crashes the escape pod. But it also has some of my favorite little moments in the series so like most of these films its a mix bag. See more
