Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Wee Man and the rest of their fearless and foolhardy friends take part in another round of outrageous pranks and stunts. In addition to standing in the path of a charging bull, launching themselves into the air and crashing through various objects, the guys perform in segments such as "Sweatsuit Cocktail," "Beehive Tetherball" and "Lamborghini Tooth Pull."

Critics Consensus

The Jackass gang might be running out of gross-out stunts, but this installment contains plenty of brilliantly brain-dead comedy -- and the 3-D adds a pungent new dimension.

There is a reason these men have thrived for so long in a world where any moron with a Flip Video can get on YouTube. They are simply the best at what they do.

This latest collection of stunts from Johnny Knoxville and his crew of masochistic nutters achieves at least one distinction: it showcases the most pointless use of 3D in movies.

At it's heart, it's always been a documentary about shenanigans, led by Johnny Knoxville, Bam Magera, Steve-O, Wee Man, and a cast of crazy people. There are no lofty descriptions, plot twists, dissertations, or allegories to speak on.

Impressively, the guys have learnt from their previous outings. This feels slicker and tighter, with less emphasis on Spike Jonze dressing up as an old guy.

Not as many stunts compared with the first films. Good to see that they still get on so well which is the real selling point of these films.

Basically no reason for this film other than the 3D novelty. For fans of Jackass there is more than enough to keep you entertained but the boys are looking a little long in the tooth and after the recent death of a member this feels like an epitaph for the franchise.

Is this the dumbest trilogy of movies ever made? Maybe. Is it one of the funniest? Yes.

Better than the first, Jackass 3 proves that the guys aren't past their prime with genuinly hilarious stunts.

It delivers what it promises. The Beavis and Butt-head intro was a nice touch.
