Beneath the 1950's seemingly placid exterior of Ozzie and Harriet normalcy, there were -- brace yourself! -- sinister undercurrents at work. Go to Full Review

There's little reason to see the movie. Unless, of course, you get off on watching the sexual exploitation of underage girls. Go to Full Review

The kind of movie that makes you wish you could rinse your brain in bleach, to wash all traces of it from your memory. Go to Full Review

It's a dark, harsh, and sometimes powerfully unpleasant film, but it's also very well made. Go to Full Review

Kylo G Apr 22, 2019 If i could give this negative stars, i would. I watched it because the ratings were good. Now ill never get that hour of my life back. This movie is terrible. The only good part was the VERY beginning before the actual story starts. All i can really say about this vile movie is that its obvious to me the writers were desperate for views and sex is already so over done that its just blah, so they decided rape must be the way to go. This film is sick. Its almost as bad as the hills have eyes, maybe worse because its repeated rape instead of just once. I almost puked my guts out and ill never watch this again. Most of these reviews are OBVIOUSLY fake because this movie is SH*T! ï¿ 1/2 1/2' (C)ï¿ 1/2 1/2' (C)ï¿ 1/2 1/2' (C) No good acting at all. And sorry but rape isnt entertaining. ï¿ 1/2 1/2'ï¿ 1/2 1/2ï¿ 1/2Â? 1/4 #sexualpredatermovie See more
Luke W Feb 25, 2019 good movie about how disgusting people can be to one another.
Albus S Sep 9, 2018 Wow... where do I begin? I didn't know anything about the movie before watching aside from the movie's poster (something I do for all movies nowadays). And that was a very unwise decision... NO, WHAT YOU DO LAST MEANS ABSOLUTELY LESS THAN NOTHING WHEN YOU'VE BEEN A COWARD BYSTANDER (AND HENCE ACCOMPLICE) TO THE WORST KIND OF TORTURE ON A 16 YEAR OLD CHILD. ASSHOLE. For a good 20 minutes I thought I was watching the wrong movie and was instead watching a teen coming of age movie. Then it all changed. And as the movie went on, my anger got to a fever pitch. No movie ever effects me like this (except documentaries), so this feeling was relatively new. I didn't just despise and want to torture/kill the characters in the movie, I wanted to torture/murder the screenwriter, the director, the producers and most of all the actors who chose to play these characters (this was not art). I was literally red in the face, with steam coming out of my ears. At that point EVERYTHING pissed me off... "why was Meg (who looked 15 at the most) allowed to be shown naked in the film, and why was she naked in front of these child actors (oldest was 14)?" "whose warped mind thinks of this stuff happening to a child?" etc. I fought hard to get through the movie (the only other film that evoked feelings similar to this was Salo or 120 Days of Sodom. And I was all set to give the movie a 1* review... but then, as usual, I went to wiki get more info on what I had just seen. And long story finally coming to an end, that's when I was mortified to learn that this was based on a true story (which is actually worse than what was portrayed in the movie). Everything changed at that point. I was happy that the film was made because more people needed to know about Sylvia Likens and the demon Gertrude Baniszewski. Then I went down the proverbial rabbit's hole and read everything I could find re Sylvia. My heart wept so much for this child. So after reading everything I realized this was a great movie (aside from people profiting off the horrendous crime). I wanted to give it a strong 4* and recommend it to everyone that has a stomach for twisted shit. So that's the review. This is a must watch for horror fans. See more
Rey G Apr 12, 2017 Personally cannot understand why this film is never featured in any top ten listings of the scariest/most disturbing online. I find even bonafide classics like The Exorcist and The Shining do not come close in terms of harrowing discomfort and gut wrenching agony; this film is a depiction of true, beyond evil and sickening events. I read somewhere this is in fact a watered down version of what really happened, which is all documented as categorical facts in the court case. If you want to see the mother of all fucked up films, watch this, but I warn you, you cannot unsee it. See more
Finn W Nov 17, 2014 More disturbing then entertaining. Hopefully these events are not that actual.
Hagrid S Aug 29, 2010 Absolutely repugnant and not very realistically portrayed at that. While "horrific" and disturbing, this is definitely not the type of horror film I'm interested in. See more
