Karen Han Thrillist Apr 4, 2018
Irreplaceable You is built to be a tearjerker, but it's working from a blueprint that's out of date. Its quirkiness is too forced and its humor too trite for there to be anything to hold onto. Go to Full Review

It sounds unbearably beatific; it's not. Irreplaceable You is not afraid to depict its central characters as unreasonable jerks....The lactose-intolerant have nothing to fear: no cheese was used in the making of this movie. Go to Full Review

It would serve its audience better if it paid more attention to a stronger structure and a believable plot, but its flaws don't keep it from being affecting for those who like their love stories on the lachrymose side. Go to Full Review

You will not enjoy much of the hour and a half that precedes the climactic scene... but if you are looking for an excuse to bawl your fucking eyes out, Irreplaceble You will definitely do the trick. But you won't feel good about it. Go to Full Review
Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Jun 1, 2018
With strong performances, the film is elevated enough to get its message across - that we may think we have enough time, but in our final moments time may be the last thing on our minds. Go to Full Review

Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Michiel Huisman tug fiercely at our heartstrings with their charming portrayals of two people who fell in love as they grew up together and now face the terminal illness of Mbatha-Raw's character. Go to Full Review

Leia S Nov 28, 2018 So incredibly boring. I can handle the occasional cheesy movie, which this definitely is. I even like the main actors from previous films. But with an empty storyline and empty characters, this was a complete waste of time. I am intelligent, but decently easy to please. This was bad. See more
Draco R Sep 6, 2018 This movie is so bad that I signed up for a Rotten Tomatoes account to say that this film is so bad.
Aug 17, 2018 Loved it so much! Brought tears to my eyes
Ron W Jun 11, 2018 I cry during the previews when I'm at the movies. So I was definitely expecting this movie to evoke some sort of emotion. Unfortunately, it neither made me laugh or cry. There was zero emotion when watching this movie. Characters weren't developed enough for me to get attached and the storyline was just drab. See more
Harry G Jun 5, 2018 This film is way too far from reality.
