One bright spot in the film is Martin Starr's performance as one of the invaders. He is cocky and sarcastic, and though not physically intimidating his malevolent attitude makes me not want to spend any time with him.

A debut film that has enough narrative aplomb, which is perceived through a welcome fluidity and not a little dryness to solve situations that in so many other thrillers tend to stretch artificially and / or confusingly. [Full review in Spanish]

This swiss cheese of a movie had some interesting moments but other than that seemed very bland. The is ok at best which is a small hinderance from being invested in the film. The plot isn't original at all but has a twist that makes it stand out.

I really liked this suspenseful movie .. A few twist and turns made it all the more enjoyable for me ... I would love to see a follow up sequel to this ... and I LOVED that house ; wish I lived in one like that ...

You think you're in for a now standard home invasion film...and that might be the films greatest weakness. It can't get to it's second half fast enough. Once it does there's enough of interest to keep you hooked with thrills, tension and a desire to learn more. But you've got to wade through the standard set up first.

This movie is just about watchable. The characters are as lifeless (despite an early attempt to give them some meaning) and unoriginal as the film. Just about enough to keep you watching but it is all so tedious and done before elsewhere.
