Anakin S Jan 28, 2019 "Sentimental US-centric drivel. It may be a true story, but this is another one of those 'US won the war' type movies where everyone except the US actors are portrayed in a stereotypical manner. Don't waste your time" I wasted my time reading your opinion. About the movie: prime quality film, based on true story. Kudos to director and actors ! See more

Finn W May 5, 2018 Interesting war film showing the life of a prisoner or war. I particularly enjoyed how it showed how all involved suffered from the effects of the war. Certainly not perfect, at times a bit predictable, but ultimately enjoyable. See more

Hagrid G Dec 21, 2017 This is a simple movie based on a true story. It shows life in a prisoner of war camp in the last year of WWII. Not your typical war movie, there is very little violence. Instead it shows the human spirit, will to survive, glimpses of humanity from all sides. See more
