Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old Midwestern girl, but her world turns upside-down when she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions -- led by Joy (Amy Poehler) -- try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness (Phyllis Smith) to the forefront. When Joy and Sadness are inadvertently swept into the far reaches of Riley's mind, the only emotions left in Headquarters are Anger, Fear and Disgust.

In the first half of the film, I was being piloted by Confusion and Dissatisfaction. But by the end, Joy was very much in charge. Go to Full Review

The holy communion that Pixar fanboys were hoping it would be, Docter's third Pixar effort stands amongst the upper echelon of Pixar's massively impressive top shelf products and is all but destined to only grow better with age. Go to Full Review

It is not easy to depict something at complex as depression, or something that resembles depression in Riley’s case. But Inside Out somehow makes sense of it. Go to Full Review

Theodore R Apr 27, 2019 Wonderful film that succeeds on every level.
Apr 14, 2019 Sadness is very little to her personality, Riley has absolutely NO peronality and Joy is one of the most unlikable characters I've ever seen. See more
Kylo S Apr 12, 2019 Very sweet and a good but sometimes a it bucks a bit
Finn R Apr 11, 2019 Great movie full of emotion and talking about the importance of being able to balance emotions anyone who thinks that it says to be happy all the tiem or that only trump supporters liked it didn't understand or get it. See more
Abraham M Apr 3, 2019 An amazing and heartfelt movie. Always makes me tear up, no matter how many times I've watched it. Everyone will enjoy this movie, no matter their age. It has awesome undertones of psychological theories, and is based off of some work done by psychologists in the field of emotions. See more
Anakin P Mar 26, 2019 This is the 5th time Ive seen Inside Out and I have to say that I enjoyed it a little less then the 4th time. Inside out is a Disney Pixar film directed by Pete Docter. Good voice acting mainly from the main cast. Steady characters who can sometimes be fun, but some of the time they can also be annoying. Good cinematography with some cool shots. Very good animation like nearly all of Pixars films. Good setting with Rileys head and memorys. the film has two styles one which is very good which is the one that involves everything in Rileys head, and the other is a bland style which is used for the real world. Good sound design like all of Pixars films. Good and steady dialogue that is spoken clearly. Good and Steady editing. Steady music that fits nicely into the background. Very good premise with the emotions, but sadly the story is bland and a bit predictable. The film has two types of comedy one in which it works and the other in which it falls flat. The emotion in the film in my personal opinion falls flat but I can see it working for some people. The film is also quiet enjoyable. There are some complaints I have with the film which are that a lot of the things that happen dont really make sense with the rules of the world, but it doesnt take away that much. The film also has a very good concept that is pulled off quiet well. Over all I give it a 6/10 - worth a watch See more
