For a far superior mix of science fiction and satire, just watch Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs again. Go to Full Review

Ice Pirates is silly, crude, inventive fun that is good- natured and off-the-wall enough to produce a rollicking good time. Go to Full Review

Hagrid P Mar 29, 2019 A completely bonkers in like Errol Flynn sci-fi MGM disaster ((It has footage from both Loganï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s Run and Rollerball (both MGM properties!)) that plays like a weirdly serious Spaceballs. See more
Poe S Mar 28, 2019 Aside from the annoying humor of the disembodied head, it was a crass but enjoyable romp full of space cheese.
Harry R Dec 2, 2018 Anjelica Huston is great. Otherwise, the movie never decides what it wants to be.
Leia R Dec 2, 2018 Watched this on tcm....tcm! are you kidding me1?1 SCTV did this in under 8 minutes. This took an hour an a half. Space herpes but no nudity? Just awful and not funny. See more
Finn R Nov 15, 2018 I remember watching this on cable as a kid. I really wish I could say this was a great movie, but I have to acknowledge the nostalgia goggles just aren't that thick. This movie just feels so dated and I feel embarrassed just watching it. But I do own it on DVD and I do watch it about once a year. See more
Albus R Oct 16, 2018 Growing up in the 80s this movie was a mainstay of cable television. Is it objectively good? No, probably not. But if you were a kid growing up in that era it was cheesily awesome on another level. What other movie has space herpes, kung fu robots, a young Ron Perlman, a pimp robot(way before Conan), and a climax involving a 5' afro? This is a truly amazing B-movie. See more
