A teen must face her fears in increasingly dangerous ways when horrible giants threaten to destroy her small town.

Critics Consensus

I Kill Giants' moody magical realism sometimes slips into the mundane, but impressive CGI and a powerhouse performance by Madison Wolfe pack an unexpected punch.

There should be a separate genre heading for this film: time-wasting droopy fantasy.

I Kill Giants is a fantasy, a beautiful allegory of growing up “different” and a deft handling of a storyline that could have been either too cute, or far too adult.

I Kill Giants is a different kind of comic book movie, one that has a heart and soul missing from the current box office fodder. I adored everything about this film and found its complex dream-like narrative poignant as well as refreshing.

They ruined this movie with the ending. They build up the main character as a strong willed, powerful, imaginative, young woman and then they completely destroy her character by turning her into a NORM... It would have been better if she had been killed by a giant...

Is this real life or is it just fantasy? This movie walks that thin line the whole movie. I really enjoyed it.

A tear jerker with a happy ending. Some weaknesses for sure, but it touched me.

booooo. Giants were just a metaphor for her issues. Was really hoping it'd turn out the giants were actually real the whole time and not just in her head.

I Kill Giants is the worst movie I've seen in a while, due to its SJW prototype protagonist. Living in her own echo chamber, rude, annoying, with superior attitude to others. Your main character doesn't have to be likeable but Jesus, give us something we can root for.
