What to Know

Critics Consensus

Grotesque, visceral and hard to (ahem) swallow, this surgical horror doesn't quite earn its stripes because the gross-outs overwhelm and devalue everything else.

[The sequel] is already in the can. Which is where many of us will be, seeking relief for emetically affected stomachs. Go to Full Review

Apr 15, 2019 A definite surprise, this movie takes an eerie thought of connecting the human race and takes it literally, bringing it to a morbid reality. The ending drops off at a horrifying situation, where sometimes dead is better compared to the monstrosities humans can afflict on each other for the name of science and inane curiosity. See more

Mar 8, 2019 While this film is definitely torture porn schlock, it is at least entertaining in that regard, but ultimately falls victim to flimsy writing and trying too hard to shock the viewer to the point where they are desensitized. See more
