Engagingly sympathetic portrayals of stoical working women and harassed railway guards keep us on side as the action rattles through familiar generic junctions. Go to Full Review

Soon it all gets bloody as the (somewhat unconvincing) lycanthrope goes loco on the locomotive. Go to Full Review

Auspicious directing and acting, but ends with a whimper. Go to Full Review

All the characters were utterly annoying... the second thing was the cheese factor in this movie was very high. Go to Full Review

The cast is good, the characters varied, and so are the attack scenes within the film's limited settings. Go to Full Review

Although Howl is very funny throughout, it's also gory and bloody and often quite frightening, at the same time. Go to Full Review

Luke R Apr 10, 2019 All clichï¿ 1/2 1/2 (C)s and no surprises.
Anakin R Apr 2, 2019 I wouldn't say 'Howl' is a good movie, but enjoyable enough to watch, which isn't a lot. The movie basically follows every horror movie scenario you can think of, just without any characterization for any attachment for me to care for the characters, despite the actors efforts and convincing werewolf make-up to go along with it. I mean, reading this review is longer than Sean Pertwee screen time. See more
Ron R Mar 23, 2019 Fuckin disappointing . Truly waste of time and hope .
Draco L Mar 15, 2019 I really loved this movie, it seems rather difficult to find good werewolf movies that actually get you to feel a bit anxious but this one definitely fulfills. It has a great story line and more than enough jumps, scares, and well done monsters to make you wanting more. The slow transformation from human into monster in this movie was well played out and visually the werewolves looked pretty damn terrifying, not campy, not too over the top and thankfully they didn't go with the lets just make them look like normal wolves aproach. The movie doesn't go overboard making you feel for the characters but that isn't to say that you don't feel for them and there are certainly ones you just cant wait to see get torn apart. If you enjoy good werewolf or monster movies this movie is worth the time to watch at least once. See more
Poe S Mar 4, 2019 Disappointing, low budget, straight to video fare. The themes, jump scares and screenplay are so predictable as a train leaves London Waterloo station and some time later comes to a shuddering halt in the middle of nowhere. The passengers (all 8 or so of them!) along with a hapless guard and trolley person come under attack from werewolf like creatures from the woods. Oh scary and so original! I found myself quite literally switching off concentration through boredom at the sheer monotony around the halfway stage. In my opinion avoid if at all possible. See more
Finn R Oct 28, 2018 Howl, is a bloody and amazing werewolf movie!
