Tom Winston is struggling to raise his three children on his own after his wife's death. After meeting the charming and beautiful Cinzia Zaccardi at a concert, he hires her as a live-in nanny. Unbeknown to Tom, Cinzia is actually a European socialite on the run from her domineering father and has absolutely no experience with cooking, cleaning or raising children. She does, however, have an interest in Tom.

It goes without saying that Grant and Loren make a handsome couple, but the script doesn’t always proceed smoothly.

Innocent romantic comedy isn't one of Grant's best, but he and Loren make for interesting watching in close quarters.

The leads share so little chemistry I had to double-check the credits to make sure they were in the same movie.

A charming classic comedy with classic stars; it's quite colorful and amiable, with Sophia Loren bringing into it her Italian flavour. The two legends is a reason sufficient enough to watch this non-harmful movie.

Perhaps this isn't one of Grant's best outings, but it's certainly a classic, warm, feel-good romance with realistic reactions out of a rather impressive children's cast. I think the kids make the film more so than the two major stars.
