Calling all monsters! Universal trots most of them out for this sequel to "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man." And, the results were slightly better than the 1943 effort. Boris Karloff plays a mad scientist bent on revenge. Go to Full Review

Finn W Aug 5, 2018 This film has some small things going for it, Lon Chaney Jr. and Boris Karloff are great and the film has a great score. It is just riddled with continuity issues and a forgettable storyline where the characters of the monster, the Wolfman, and Dracula never actually all meet in the same room which is a disappointment. Never understood why Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi didn't go back to their iconic roles. See more
Poe S Sep 17, 2017 An interesting but, somewhat dull movie. Yes, this movie is called Frankenstein but, Frankenstein was barley in it! They should've re titled it the Crazy doctor who wanted to revive Frankenstein with his Igor like countless previous doctors who tried and failed. Honestly is this the most original idea universal could come up with? It's the same plot as the last 4 Frankenstein movies!!!! So overall if you watched son of Frankenstein you've pretty much Ed watched this. Just include the depressed wolf an, and some form of dracula. Hey, at least it was better than "Frankenstein meets the Wolfman!" See more
Finn R Mar 24, 2017 This has to be the worst the Universal Monsters has to offer. This movie is absolutely awful. Frankenstein is literally alive for 4 minutes, the acting is abismal and it ends in QUICKSAND! See more
Theodore P Mar 4, 2017 Except for Boris Karloff (who proves herein that he can handle lines with the best of them) and J.Carrol Naish, the writing of this dreck shipwrecks everyone involved. Chaney's Wolfman is a joke, Frankenstein's monster "runs amok" for perhaps 3 minutes, maybe even less, and Carradine's Dracula is an insult to the legend. Pass, pass, pass! See more
Finn L Oct 8, 2016 Harmless fun. Chaney is at the top of his game and Karloff plays the evil scientist part with gusto. That being said, Dracula is shoehorned in for about ten minutes and is completely forgotten afterwards. It would've been nice to see the big three monsters onscreen together, but they are instead dealt within individual sequences. While entertaining, it doesn't live up to previous entries in the Frankenstein series. See more
