Ron G Mar 22, 2019 The ending is too silly even by this movie's standards, but I enjoyed this as much if not a little more than the first film due to the simple fact that I laughed a lot more. See more

Han M Jan 25, 2019 This was a damn good movie, just as fun if not funnier than the first one. I honestly had trepidations it might fall flat, I didn't need worry. See more

Harry P Dec 4, 2018 A direct sequel to Hotel Transylvania (2012) that sees Mavis (Selena Gomez) and Jonathan (Andy Samberg) tying the knot. It then does a bit of a time jump with them having a young boy named Dennis (Asher Blinkoff). Dracula (Adam Sandler) loves being a grandfather, but as Dennis' 5th birthday is approaching he can't but wonder why his teeth hasn't grown in yet. Is Dennis a vampire, or did he not inherit any of the monster genes, therefore being just a human. Mavis starts to feel like the hotel isn't the safest place for Dennis since she believes he's a human, so Jonathan and her go on a trip to California in the hopes of possibly moving there. Dracula decides this is a perfect time to watch Dennis, but also finally force his monster side to come out. Along with his best buds Frankenstein (Kevin James), Wayne the werewolf (Steve Buscemi), Griffin the invisible man (David Spade) and Murray the mummy (this time voiced by Keegan-Michael Key) go on a road trip to visit some of their old haunts to somehow trigger Dennis' true origins. Soon enough though it appears maybe Dennis maybe doesn't have it. What will Dracula do to keep his family together? I actually enjoyed this movie better than the first one. I found it to be much funnier and the plot itself has a bit more meat to it than the previous one. It's not as predictable and for the most part it flows well. The only gripe I had was they introduce an antagonist a bit too late to the movie and people start making decisions that I found they kind of jumped to. It would have been nice to have a ore central antagonist throughout the film (something so far this series is lacking). I will say the animation has improved in this movie. There's much more locations and it's just overall a much more fun film. It's still aimed at kids, but this one works for the most part. See more
