What to Know

Critics Consensus

An attractive Jessica Alba and energetic dance numbers provide some lift to this corny and formulaic movie.

This is fairy tale stuff, its saintly hip-hop heroine far too worthy for comfort and its dialogue hilariously banal. Go to Full Review

Jul 6, 2018 This movie takes corniness to another level.
Han W Dec 22, 2017 Jessica Alba is hot. That's basically the premise of this movie. If you like dancing, you'll probably love it, but there's not much else to it. See more
Luke G Jan 6, 2007 This movie had some pretty cool dancing but I'm not much of a fan of urban music so I didn't love it.
