Critics Consensus

Neither scary nor funny, The Haunted Mansion is as lifeless as the ghosts in the movie.

Harry R Apr 8, 2019 A movie loosely based on an iconic theme park ride screams disaster. This is proof of that theory. The plot makes no sense just like its storytelling. The characters are bland and uninteresting, with weak performances throughout. It has a bad script, terrible effects, no good comedy, no scares, heavily absent in charm, and comes across as incredibly annoying. You got a terrible kids movie on your hands. One that I bet Disney is disgusted that it exists in their own library. Child friendly trash at its finest. See more

George W Feb 5, 2018 (4.0 out of 6) When what such places holds we see are the dead. When it's time to stop holding on to somethings old to see we need to sell it. When we see what holds us is what wants us to stay when the conditions get worse in and out of such places. When what secrets, mystery, and hidden doors hold we are pulled in further and further. When we see others don't hold valuables as much as others do to let go in what it stands for. When we see such places are so large we can't seem to keep hold of our family in such places to get lost in it. When such places holds mysterious forces that we see but can hold we see our eyes play jokes on us or were they? When we see such places are meant to hold those in whom they planned to come we see everything is going as planned. When we see such places holds trapped souls, they need to find the key that unlocks such curses. When we see such places hold when it's the dead awakening. See more
