Leia S Aug 13, 2017 Overall, it just feels incomplete and butchered, as if a longer and better film was sacrificed for a shorter runtime. Even though the film was directed by the great Wim Wenders I doubt he had the final cut or, in many cases, final say. It's visionless, empty, and more interested with shoving in cameos and stars than telling a story or even making a slight attempt to understand his psyche. Only worth seeing for Jack Nance and some moments where Wenders' direction shines through a ruined picture. See more

Theodore M Nov 30, 2014 This film was produced at Zoetrope Studios in Hollywood under the direction of Francis Ford Capolla and Wim Wenders. A lot of the mood and atmospherics ended up on the cutting room floor. I had a scene with a bunch of pool players in Chinatown that disappeared. In France it became a huge hit! It went under the radar in the US. Good cast in the pulp noire genre. See more
