Teen misfits (Kel Mitchell, Kenan Thompson) at a modest burger joint face competition from a hamburger emporium across the street.

Critics Consensus

Good Burger might please hardcore fans of the 1990s Nickelodeon TV series that launched leads Kenan and Kel to stardom, but for all others, it will likely prove a comedy that is neither satisfyingly rare nor well done.

If you like your burger well-done, you're in for a disappointment.

[Good Burger] will satisfy their audience's appetite for basic, messy silliness while leaving many grown-ups mildly bemused by the fuzzy obviousness of its humor, the gawky pacing of its sight gags and the second-handedness of its slapstick.

Good Burger isn't USDA Choice by any means, but it's an enjoyable family flick with a nice message about friendship and responsibility.

Cheap and pandering kiddie comedy featuring strictly lowest common denominator storytelling and humor, although sometimes so stupid it's funny.

It's easy to see why Good Burger garnered negative reviews (including mine) upon its original release and why it's a hallowed Gen Y fave today.

Good Burger isn't a great comedy by any means but there are plenty of laughs to be found.

Good film funny and a film for everyone of the family

Eh, this movie's harmless. Some of the jokes are funny, it doesn't feel that outdated for a late '90s teen comedy and hey Kel Mitchell, Sinbad and...the bad guy seem to be having fun acting over-the-top. Also, look horny teens and '90s kids, a Carmen Electra appearance to turn you on. The script's rather "eh", Ed comes off at times as more cringy than funny and there are a couple of pointless scenes. I didn't hate Good Burger, I just couldn't get into it. But hey, at leasts '90s kids will hold this movie in a special nostalgic place in their hearts.

ignore the bad reviews, it is a 10/10 great movie, and one of my favorites by far. Again, don't let the bad reviews keep you from watching this flick.
