What if you had the chance to travel back in time and change just one event in your life? What would it be? For John Sullivan (Jim Caviezel), there is no question. He would undo the events of October 12, 1969, when the out-of-control Buxton fire took the life of his father (Dennis Quaid), a heroic firefighter. Now John may get exactly what he wished for -- and much more than he bargained for.

Quaid's buoyant earnestness complements the stunning, low-key performance by Caviezel, whose close-ups give new meaning to the idea that still waters run deep. Go to Full Review

Apr 23, 2019 wonderful wonderful script!
Mar 26, 2019 It has heart, touching, and interesting story telling exactly what people want to see in 'good movies'.
Anakin S Dec 30, 2018 For all the manipulation of the time-space continuum in the name of string theory, the Oedipal fantasies and acousmatic voice, the intertwined parallels between violently dispassionate law, dispassionately violent fire, and passionately violent serial killers, perhaps the most ridiculous and most poetic thing here is that someone would still go ham on a ham radio at the turn of the millennium. Dec 5, 2018 I had to write a movie review about it.
Abraham W Oct 28, 2018 It's one thing to have to temporarily suspend disbelief of the supernatural, and to play along with arbitrary rules governing those phenomena. But it's quite another to have those rules non-uniformly applied. Fun concepdespite the imperfect execution and logical holes. See more
Anakin S Sep 29, 2018 The unique premise is riveting enough to keep watching, but Frequency sloppily meshes genres in an already stuffed film.
