In a standard cowering-town-needs-a-gunfighter drama, typical themes (redemption, forgiveness) are laid out with little imagination. Go to Full Review

Forsaken greatly benefits from the poignant teaming of its father-and-son stars -- as well as Michael Wincott as an especially elegant and eloquent gunfighter who has great respect for John. Go to Full Review

Veteran TV director Jon Cassar (a 24 stalwart) isn't aiming for anything particularly original or revisionist here, and some viewers will take issue with his film's measured pacing... But the movie has enough grace notes to keep Western fans engaged Go to Full Review

Draco S Feb 12, 2019 I picked this DVD out of a bargain bin only because Kiefer and Donny are in it and I do like westerns. All in all, not a bad movie, nicely shot and the actors do their best with a pretty boring script. There is one very emotional standout scene between father and son in the church. Unfortunately it was just too cliche and predictable for me. If you like westerns it's worth a watch. See more
Jan 16, 2019 Father and son so I can't resist - and probably Kiefers best crying scene
Oct 2, 2018 I really wanted to like this film. The cinematography was great. The sweeping countryside, man and horse brought out that great romance of the west. Unfortunately, the plot was to formulaic and the acting so unconvincing that I was board throughout. See more
Luke W Sep 21, 2018 Not was good as was hoping.. But good to see Keifer and Donald acting together.

Luke W Apr 30, 2018 Pretty good film. Entertaining. The two Sutherlands get to play estranged father and son. A gunfighter tired of killing returns home to a father who doesn't want to accept him until he proves he doesn't want to kill anymore. They find common ground when they both agree they want to kill the bad guys. Very interesting gunfight at the end with a twist. See more
