The film offers a better sense of who Leonard Nimoy was, and where Spock came from, than a more objective approach could. Go to Full Review

Adam clearly lacked the perspective required to contain the story, which lurches into all sorts of odd and personal digressions, but as a celebration of the original 1966-'69 series this is first-rate. Go to Full Review

Whatever its flaws, "For the Love of Spock" mostly works for those with an interest in the man or a love of the series. And if the director was perhaps too close to the subject, that, too, has a certain logic to it. Go to Full Review

Finn M Apr 28, 2019 Independent documentaries let the filmmaker to go on either a reflective or therapeutic journey to find oneself or to get to know more about the subject as tribute. Adam Nimoy presents an honorable, exploring tribute of his late-iconic father as the most humanly documented feats with an exceptional structure narratively made up of spirited resources that are to entertain both fandoms between the original and newer generations by being touched in a way a Vulcan would know how. George L May 26, 2018 A consistently engaging celebrity doc that testifies to a talented, revered, but still flawed cultural icon.
Ron S May 16, 2018 If you are a OG Trek fan...this is a MUST watch!
Abraham R Sep 16, 2017 A great memorial to the iconic Spock, with some touching memories of the man Nimoy was. While the outcome of the documentary was changed due to his death, it did lead to some oddly disjointed moments where it was clear it was one movie, & now another. Still, as a Trekkie, I liked it. Leia R May 8, 2017 Really good film for the fans
Ron G Apr 14, 2017 Well made but forcibly moving and more of a salute to the fans than a documentary.
