Since the heroine's character seemed no better than that of anyone else in the picture it is a little difficult to understand why an audience should care what happened. Go to Full Review

Hagrid W Jul 7, 2017 Flamingo Road is an incredible film. It is about a small town corrupt sheriff who manipulates local candidates to the state legislature, but he eventually comes into conflict with an out-of-town carnival dancer. Joan Crawford and Zachary Scott give amazing performances. The screenplay is well written. Michael Curtiz did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and romance. Flamingo Road is a must see. See more
Poe W Mar 26, 2015 Good until the second half when it gets a bit far fetched. Crawford annoyed at times with her gushing love.
