You could be patronising and call it a plucky little fighter, but it's actually a student film writ large, with a "that'll do" approach to dialogue and implausibly flexible relationships and characterisation, but which carries some A-game performances all the same and an eye for good editing when needed.

Basically 'Bend it like Beckham' but with relay sprinters, this was clearly made to cash in on the London Olympics. It's done solidly though with a strong female cast and really I'm probably not the target audience here. If you've a teen daughter I'm sure they'd really enjoy it.
