The Family Stone works hard to warm the cockles of our hearts. The cast is attractive. The sentiments are commendable. But the love Bezucha wants us to feel for the family couldn't possibly compete with the love they already feel for themselves. Go to Full Review

I can't deny the incidental pleasures of watching these talented players giving it their all, even in such a misguided project. Go to Full Review

Like the character of Meredith, the film's bravado cannot mask a messy soul but should be given respect for showing up and sticking it out. Go to Full Review

I finally understand why "The Family Stone" has become a cult classic; it has its flaws, but at the same time, it's comforting to watch it during this Christmas season. [Full review in Spanish]. Go to Full Review

Harry W Jan 4, 2019 The Family Stone is a very underrated and touching holiday film that I have grown to love. The performances are all so natural and you really feel like you're close to the Stone family at Christmas time. Every conversation seems to have meaning and you genuinely care about each one of them. It tells us that it can be a challenge to be around family during the holidays, but seeing the good in everyone and everything can make a difference. It can be predictable at times, but you just feel satisfied by the time the credits roll. (4/5) See more
Rey S Nov 22, 2018 My favorite Christmas movie. One crazy family comes together for the holidays and is joined by an uptight girlfriend. Hilarity ensures. Luke Wilson is as funny here as he's ever been. See more
Abraham S Nov 22, 2018 Amazing cast, but lackluster writing and aggressive camera shots made for a very disappointing experience.
Oct 4, 2018 lOVE IT EACH TIME I WATCH IT!
Hagrid L Sep 6, 2018 generally enjoyable, but tear-jerker ending
Poe W Jul 31, 2018 A lot better than the critics are telling you.
