This movie is well known and liked amongst horror fans. I finally watched it and this is my honest oppinion. For most of the movie I believed everything. I actually thought this was real. Midway through I started to be skeptical but you really feel for Dekker and want to believe it. I was on board until the confrontation but than I realised this was just really good fan fiction. Don't get me wrong it's still a good and entertaining movie but I honestly fealt fooled.

Unsuccessfully blends Catfish and Blair Witch, Ray Wise is as watchable as ever though.

A fascinating hybrid of a movie about imagination, parenthood, and belief. It's scary, it's funny, it's truly entertaining, and it's handled with love and care. Adam Green has made something truly special. Also, Ray Wise gives a genuinely brilliant performance.
